ESPOUSING KNOWLEDGE

We understand the needs of busy professionals. Our flexible approach provides options for knowledge exchange being in person and/or virtual. Knowledge sessions are delivered to align with the requirements of organizations and individuals seeking to enhance and expand subject matter knowledge with a focus on practical applications.

Whilst our knowledge sessions typically vary in duration including half day, full day, these can be adapted to suit specific client requirements. We encourage interactive thought leadership, solution focused approaches with scenario banks and reference to applicable standards/codes, best practices and experiences.

Our approach is Strategic
Professional Development (SPD)

which encompasses a deliberate and planned approach to enhancing an individual’s skills, knowledge, and competencies in a way that
aligns with both individual career goals and the organization’s objectives. KRH is focused on achieving the following objectives:

  • Aligning Organizational Goals: Ensuring that individual development activities contribute to the organization’s broader strategies and objectives.
  • Long-Term Planning: Developing a roadmap for growth that considers future trends, personal career aspirations, and the evolving industry needs organization.
  • Targeted Learning: Identifying specific skills, knowledge areas, or competencies that are critical for career advancement or organizational success.
  • Resource Optimization: Allocating time, effort, and financial resources efficiently to maximize the impact of development activities.

SPD is encouraged by KRH to enable a competitive workforce, improve employee engagement, and ensure that the workforce is capable of
meeting future challenges and opportunities with a dedicated space known as the Knowledge Room.

The Knowledge Room seeks to reconcile employer needs and employee expectations by reviewing facts, exchanging information, and
enhancing skills gained through education, experience, and or research in a dynamic learning environment.

ACHIEVING RESOLUTION

Owners, Developers, Financiers, Contractors, Specialist Trades, Suppliers, Insurers, Lawyers and other professionals engaged in the construction supply chain often require support in the process of the review and resolution of issues.

The Knowledge and Resolution Hub (KRH) provides a space for such issues to be brought in for review and subject to either single-party or multiple-party facilitated review and resolution with processional resolvers and focused spaces that allow:

  • Dialogue: Exchange ideas or opinions, foster understanding, collaborate, and achieve results.
  • Explore: Discover, investigate, learn or examine something new or unknown and achieve results.
  • Resolution: Decide or determine to solve a problem, achieve a goal, or settle a difference.

Supporting the Resolution of Claims and Disputes:

In respect of construction and engineering projects and based on our experience and specific needs, KRH provides assistance to the parties in identifying individuals to avoid disputes or to resolve disputes. This includes Claims Practitioners (Claim Preparation and or Claim Defence), Mediators, Conciliators, Expert Determiners, Adjudicators, Dispute Board Members (DRB/DAB/DAAB), and Arbitrators. Further, KRH can propose members to sit on the various types of Dispute Boards, such as Dispute Review Board (DRB), Dispute Avoidance Board (DAB), and Dispute Avoidance/Adjudication Board (DAAB).
